This is the name of the dish we have chosen for you; Delicious Vegan Donuts.
For the Donuts
125 ml almond milk or other unsweetened vegetable milk
3.5 g dry yeast
50 g of raw cane sugar – alternatively coconut blossom sugar
82 g applesauce
4 g baking soda
30 ml frying and baking oil or another highly heatable oil
115 g cups of spelled flour or gluten-free flour mixture
14 g coconut flour – alternatively almond flour or more spelled or gluten-free flour
Ground ½ tsp bourbon vanilla
A pinch of sea salt
For Cinning Sugar
optional 2 tablespoons margarine
2.6 g cinnamon – ground
50 g of raw cane sugar or coconut blossom sugar
Delicious Vegan Donuts
Grease donut mold and put aside. Preheat oven to 175 degrees circulating air. Heat the almond milk lukewarm. Be careful not to overheat, it’s just that the yeast is activated, especially when the milk comes out of the fridge.
Pour almond milk into a large bowl and stir in the yeast. Add sugar and stir again until everything is connected.
Add the applesauce, baking powder, oil, flour, coconut flour, vanilla and sea salt and stir well until a uniform dough is formed.
Pour into a spout and squirt six even donuts into the mold. Alternatively, take a freezer bag and cut off a small corner (Due to the plastic problem but only in an emergency). It is best to use a reusable spout (or piping bag). I’ve linked one below.
Put in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. The donuts are ready when they have a slightly golden brown color.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool briefly. In the meantime melt margarine in a small saucepan. Mix cinnamon with sugar in an extra bowl and put aside.
Take the donuts out of the mold and optionally spread with the margarine. In the cinnamon press sugar and set aside. Repeat the process until all donuts are topped with cinnamon sugar.
