Recently, I celebrated my birthday with dear friends and creatively in the porcelain café. Since it is very important there that the hands stay clean, I just impaled cake and Co. easy. In addition to the more or less elaborate brownie and Käsekuchenspießchen with blueberries, raspberries and chocolate sauce I came to the idea of these delicious grapes Pops. I tell you, they were the hit. I went home with plenty of cake on the spit, but without grapes pops. And since the crumbles remind me of confetti, they are now called confetti grape pops.
Do you know what’s so great about them?
Easy to prepare. Great for destroying chocolate leftovers. They actually contain vitamins.
They taste like a mixture of paradise apples and chocolate grapes. Now I have you, right? 😀 So, let’s go. Following the recipe, there is a mini DIY for pretty skewers.
Recipe for confetti grape pops
You need small pot
small silicone spatula
Notes: I recommend you, especially in the preparation by children, a melting bowl with Auflageraste (*). So the bowl can not accidentally slip into the hot water. In addition, necessarily a small silicone spatula (*), spoons can be uncomfortably hot by the steam. Basically: Please stay with the preparation by your children, hot water is and remains dangerous!
Chocolate of your choice (about 150 g for 500 g grapes)
Grapes of your choice (preferably large ones)
Sprinkles of your choice (about 100 g for 500 g grapes)
Skewers (homemade or toothpicks / party skewers)
Put the sprinkles in a small bowl. Wash the grapes and dry them carefully. Fill water into the pot until just below the melting bowl and heat it up. I cook it up for a moment and then shut it down so that it does not boil any more. Put the chocolate in pieces in the melting bowl. Stir again and again until the chocolate is completely melted. Peck the grapes straight, dunk them in the chocolate and spin them in the sprinkles. Now you can either place them directly on your serving plate or first on baking paper for curing. They are relatively fast again and then you can break loose, tadaaaa 😀
And now you are sure to ask yourself: Where did she get those crass nice skewers? I knew it. The answer is homemade. Ok, little fun on the edge, you can see, of course. But I still have some tips. You can use skewers for so much. I can not help thinking of the classic cheese yolk, tomato mozzarella skewers, cheese skewers, fruit skewers, pancakes skewers, date bacon skewers, melons ham skewers … but let’s face it, the days of plastic skewers are numbered. I still have some, but I can not see them anymore. And so I came up with the idea to pimp the proven toothpicks. How exactly, I’ll show you now.
Spits fast and nicely homemade
Craft glue, liquid
Hints: Theoretically you can of course take any paper. Should you handle the skewers but over a water bath, then thinner paper waves unsightly. My used punches have an average diameter of 1.5cm, less I would not recommend. These are roughly equivalent to my punches: star *, heart * and flower *.

Do you already know my PopBon Crunchy Pie? Instead of the BonBons you can also use there super crumbles.
And now, on the skewers, get set, go! What do you spit on next and for what? Maybe for carnival / carnival?
